From ordinary to Extraordinary

An Initiative to recognize and appreciate unsung heroes.

Awesome Awards is an initiative to recognize and appreciate unsung heroes. We were approached by Toby Barazzuol who runs eclipse awards. The idea is to nominate the unsung heroes in ones community, recognize them and present them with an award.

Problem

  • The problem that awesome awards is attempting is the momentum is being lost due to unclear instructions & lack of engagement.

Solution

  • Our solution was to simplify the process through storytelling, keeping users engaged, and showing the origin of the award. We made the website visually appealing to follow where a winner can track their award and it’s journey as it gets passed along. This gives motivation to the winner to see that the award has been passed on by many others.

Final Prototype:

We created high-fidelity screens for the mobile app. Using the screens we created an InVision prototype which helped us navigate through the website.
